Helen Vines and Jane Marsden have been running retreats for international audiences, in Mallorca for over 14 years. Helen is a qualified tai chi and qigong instructor, based in Devon, UK. Jane is a qualified reflexologist, based on the Wirral, UK.

Their professionalism, mixed with humour and an attention to detail and the needs of guests, ensures that everyone has a rewarding and fulfilling week.

About Helen:  Helen has been practising tai chi and qi gong for 17 years, primarily with Angus Clark of the School of Living Movement (author of various Tai Chi books and videos).  She trained as an instructor with Angus and holds Tai Chi Union of Great Britain Instructor (TCUGB) status.  Helen is skilled in enabling everyone to participate, to move and develop their own tai chi, whatever their ability.  She offers simple, practical ways for people to tune into their own energy, and of that around them.

Helen teaches regular tai chi classes in Devon and provides one-to-one tuition.  She has run tai chi sessions in corporate settings, and at taiko drumming and residential music/singing courses in the UK. Helen’s interest lies in sharing the Living Movement principles and the wisdom of tai chi to help people better manage the challenges of modern life, and to tap into that life force that exists in each and everyone.  Some fun and laughter is an inevitable addition into the mix during Helen’s classes.

About Jane:  Having been a teacher of children with special needs for 21 years Jane decided to develop a more holistic approach to supporting people and ten years ago closed one door to open another. She trained in Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Reiki and Thermal Auricular Therapy and more recently Emotional Freedom Technique and Bach flower remedies. Jane uses a combination of these therapies to promote the body’s natural balance and help maintain equilibrium and wellbeing.

Jane is the Director of Sole to Soul Holistics, a Holistic Therapy business which offers services ranging from Health days and workshops in corporate and public sector settings to 1:1 treatments with private clients. Her passion comes from the belief in a holistic model – we need to nurture mind, body and spirit to encourage the body’s natural ability to restore harmony and wellbeing.

We look forward to being your hosts and welcoming you to a week of “Wellness at its Best” at Son Ametler.
