Weekly classes are running at Kenton during term times.

NB No classes during half term holidays.

Chi and Biscuits start again on Friday 6th January 2017.

Time: Fridays, 10-11.15am,  then time for tea, biscuit and a natter.

What: We run through a lovely set of tai chi and qi gong exercises. We will also continue with the Yang short form.

Who: This class is suitable for beginners and returners who can stand and move with little/no support.  We’ve been learning the Yang short form for a year or so now – it’s easy to catch up!

How much: £6 per class or pay for whole term in advance and get last session for free.

Plenty of parking behind Victory Hall.  On bus route.

Contact me with any questions, and to book a place.

This class is on hold.  Contact me if you would be interested in attending this class, Fridays, 1.30-2.30pm.  If there is sufficient demand I will look at starting it again.  (NB. This class, as it was, was suitable for beginners and returners with limited or full mobility. Exercises can be done seated for those who can’t stand for a long time.  This class may learn individual postures but doesn’t include learning the Yang form.)

Contact me with any questions.

  2. I am pleased to have found you ( I live in Dunfermline Scotland) but there is a strong possibility that I will be moving down to Hemyock, Collumpton to be near to my son and granddaughter, later in the year. I have been doing a mind & body class (yoga & tai chi) for about 18 months now and thoroughly enjoy it. I have also been on two mind and body retreats at Punto de Luz, Andalucia Spain which were absolutely wonderful weeks. I do hope that you are not far from Collumpton Devon – It would be something to look forward to. My email address is dorothy.millar@talktalk.net. Would love to hear from you. Dorothy Millar.

    • Hi Dorothy, I’m delighted you found me too! Hemyock and the Blackdowns are a lovely part of Devon. My guess is about 45 mins from Kenton. It would be great to have you join us. Your other option would be to join us in Mallorca for our Annual Week of Wellness. 2015 is our 10th year, and it starts on the 10/10!! Tai chi, reflexology and holistic therapies, mindfulness, walks, good food and wine (!), fabulous location, comfy beds, trip to market, blue seas, mountains, time to chill. Check it out here https://taichivinesworks.wordpress.com/121-2/ Email me at taichi@vinesworks.co.uk to talk more about Devon class options or with any questions about our Week of Wellness. Best wishes, Helen

    • Hi Sally, I’ve been away, out of range! Have left you a voicemail msg. The classes are great for relaxing, whether you intended too or not, so my regulars tell me! Do call back or just turn up at Kenton, 10am on Fridays, it’s a very friendly group, all ages and abilities. Hope to speak/see you soon 🙂

    • Hi Lynda, great to hear from you. We don’t currently have a class in Exminster, but quite a few people at the Kenton class are from Exminster and car share. So if you wanted I’m sure we could sort out a lift if you needed one. We’ve 2 more weeks until the summer break. Do pop along one Friday or contact me directly if we need to sort out a lift for you. Thanks, Helen
